Hioki IR4057-50 Insulation Tester
The Hioki IR4057-50 is a 5-range (50V to 1000V) high-speed digital insulation resistance tester built for fast, reliable testing of electrical installations, motors, machinery and control systems in the field. Its Quick Response Comparator delivers a stable PASS/FAIL judgment in approximately 0.3 seconds, while a digital bar graph makes it easy to watch charging behaviour on capacitive circuits such as solar PV strings. The all-in-one rugged case stores the test leads so the instrument travels as a single unit.

Fast, Reliable Field Testing
The IR4057-50 is designed to shorten work time during field insulation testing. The comparator gives an immediate pass/fail result with a beep and an LCD indication — turning red on a fail — so you can judge insulation integrity without staring at the display. The bar graph is particularly useful on circuits with a large capacitance component, such as solar panel strings, where it illustrates the charging status as the reading settles.
